We are very sorry to have to announce the death of Bev Hunt.
Bev was a Life Member of the Trust. She was a Trustee between 2013 and 2018, being our Secretary throughout that time.
Always a strong advocate for spreading the word about the glories of our beautiful canal, she was frequently found working on James Brindley, our promotional trailer.
Over the last few years, Bev had been suffering from Lewy Body Dementia. Her death was not Covid 19 related.
Given the current restrictions on social gatherings, there can be family only at the funeral.
We will hold a Memorial Event at some time in the future to celebrate the life of this wonderful woman who cared so much about our cause.
