As a taster, the design of the new Trans-Pennine Trail bridge is featured in Issue 1.
The bridge above is to fill the gap on the old Great Central Railway track that is now the Trans-Pennine Trail. See Bridge 13c below.
The photo below shows the orginal bridge on the left that was demolished many years ago.
The gap to be bridged is on the left in the photo below. The ramp with fences either side will be removed to let the canal pass through.
The view below is from the ramp. The bridge will span the gap straight ahead just before where the gate is.
