From 2/10/24 the visitor centre at Tapton Lock, on the Chesterfield Canal, will be open Mondays and Tuesdays plus occasional weekends due to current issues with staffing.

Similarly, the public toilets will only be available when the visitor centre is open.
We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused while we work to try and resolve these issues.
