They are investing up to £25 million in each of 101 towns, one of which is Staveley.
They are seeking ides as to how that money should be spent.
We are about to put in for Planning Permission to restore the remaining two miles of derelict canal within Staveley, from Hartington Harbour almost to Renishaw.
We believe that Government investment in this restoration would bring huge health and tourism benefits to the town.
