Hollingwood Hub is the home of the Chesterfield Canal Trust. It has seven parts.
1. The offices of the Trust are in the old Hollingwood Lock House.
2. Katey’s Coffee Shop – see below.
3. Our Information Centre and Shop which is in The David Trickett Meeting Room – see below.
4. Tripboat cruises on Madeline, click here for details.
5. CJB Training & Adventure run a Paddlesports Hire business operated under licence from Derbyshire County Council, click here for details.
6. The garden which is tended by our volunteers. We have been awarded a Green Flag for nine years in a row.
7. The car park which can hold 60 cars comfortably.
The public parts of the building are fully accessible; there are two toilets for the disabled. The towpath is built to Access for All standards.
There is a defibrillator and two noticeboards on the outside wall.

Directions
Hollingwood Hub is next to Hollingwood Lock, 4 miles along the canal from the centre of Chesterfield. It is on Works Road between Hollingwood and Barrow Hill.
There are brown tourist signs.
By car – SatNav S43 2PF.
Take the A619 which runs between Junction 30 on the M1 and the Tesco roundabout on the A61 through Chesterfield. Follow the brown Hollingwood Hub tourist signs from the A619 down Troughbrook Road. The car park is on Station Road, just before you get to the canal.
By bus – catch the 90 bus which goes right past the Hub, click here for the timetable, or catch the 70, 71, 74, 77, 80 or 80A and walk down Troughbrook Road (10 minutes).

Katey’s Coffee Shop is open every day (except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
Drinks, sandwiches, light meals, ice creams and a selection of cakes. Everything is home made (07477 600141).
The David Trickett Meeting Room
This room is named after David Trickett, the much loved and respected Vice Chair of the Trust who died in November 2010.
This houses our Information Centre and Shop which is open almost every day. It is always open when Madeline is running cruises.
The room is occasionally used for exhibitions and meetings.
