On 1st April, five boats from the Chesterfield Canal joined several more more which had come from Keadby to head up the river Trent past Gainsborough.
The flotilla was to bring publicity to the Fund Britain’s Waterways campaign.
Some of the boats will be going all the way to London for a mass protest cruise on the river Thames outside the Houses of Parliament in May.
