There have been several reports of bird deaths between Retford and Gringley.
The Canal & River Trust suspects that a case of Avian Flu has broken out affecting the birds in this area.
It is working closely with the RSPCA.
If you find any dead birds, please do not touch them.
Please report it to C&RT by ringing 03030 404040, using What3Words to identify the location so that they can be removed professionally.
Please keep dogs on leads and do not let them touch the birds.
